'The Old School Pinball' is a small, private arcade dedicated to the preservation of classic pinball machines.
- The Old School Pinball is a private pinball arcade set in a residential property; The Old School.
- The eponym of the arcade itself, The Old School is a late 19th century Victorian school that was converted to a residential property in 1990.
- The arcade itself was constructed within the premises during March and April 2019. While there have been pinball machines at The Old School since the early 2000s, the sizable collection we hold today has been collected and refurbished between 2014 and 2019.
- What pinball machines are we looking to add to this collection?
- This is the subject of much internal debate. Medieval Madness, World Cup 94, Lord of the Rings and the remake of Black Knight are all being discussed. One notable thing about this collection is that, at The Old School Pinball we do not have any Stern machines whatsoever. The addition of either of the latter machines cited would address this lack of diversity.
- What pinball machines are currently for sale or available to trade?
- The collection currently contains 12 pinball machines, while the purpose built arcade holds just 10. We feel it's an excellent problem to have, given the absolute ease of moving machines in and out of this room. Despite this, The Getaway II and Jack Bot were the two machines we elected to store. These two machines, in addition to Popeye (it's too easy for us here) could be sold or traded to prospective collectors.
